Comments about Step2 Home Run Baseball Trainer™:

Item arrived in a brown box with no color picture to help with assembly. Directions inside box were VERY vague and actually skipped steps. Hard to tell parts from black & white pictures. Went to online assembly video which labels the parts totally different and even builds it differently. (Online was actually the most help). Sealed box came missing the bat! Had to double check to make sure it was supposed to be included. End of slide is only attached by gravity and falls off very easy. I might have to add a screw for prolonged outside use. Need to shop around to find similar sized wiffle balls. All said and done its a fun product to play with in the yard!

Comments about Step2 Home Run Baseball Trainer™:

I was really excited to get this product. My 3 1/2 year old son LOVES baseball and I thought this would be a great way for him to practice with out me having to be so involved all the time. It was NOT easy to put together and the "directions" were extremely vague. I ended up having to fine a you tube video to get me through the set up process. Once it was together, my son was very excited to use it. It is not as easy as it appears in the promotional video. The latch to release the ball has to be pressed pretty hard and in an exact spot. Also, the yellow piece at the end of the ramp comes off very easily if the child hits it while swinging. I purchased some extra wiffle balls as I didn't thing 4 was enough, but regular wiffle balls don't fit, too small, so they come out two in a row. My son will continue to use this product, but I am not sure it will be something he would use past the age of 4, maybe 4 1/2. I don't think older kids would enjoy it.
