Customer ReviewsRated 3 out of 5 by Angel Dad from What a headache to build!!! Item arrived in a brown box with no color picture to help with assembly. Directions inside box were VERY vague and actually skipped steps. Hard to tell parts from black & white pictures. Went to online assembly video which labels the parts totally different and even builds it differently. (Online was actually the most help). Sealed box came missing the bat! Had to double check to make sure it was supposed to be included. End of slide is only attached by gravity and falls off very easy. I might have to add a screw for prolonged outside use. Need to shop around to find similar sized wiffle balls. All said and done its a fun product to play with in the yard!Date published: 2016-04-06Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from A Fun Toy to Help Learn A Real Skill... As a Step2 Brand Ambassador, I first got to see this in the prototype stage, and was really hoping that it would get the greenlight for production, so I was thrilled to see it make it to market. The Home Run Baseball Trainer is a fun toy that can be used to teach and enhance an actual skill - the "batting eye."Having seen this in-use here at home for over a month now, both of my girls have already shown improvement in their batting skills, and some of their neighborhood friends really dig the novelty of it.I really wish that I'd had one of these on the field when I was coaching Pee Wee Baseball last year.Date published: 2015-05-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Nana G from No batteries required, great product, has a few minor issues We bought two for our grandsons. They love them. They weren't too difficult to put together. Don't make a mistake though, it's a bear to get them apart to correct it.The sleeves for the balls to roll down could be a bit wider maybe to prevent them from getting stuck and the final yellow piece that drops the ball needs to attach better. Other than that, great concept, good construction and will provide hours of fun.Date published: 2015-06-11Rated 3 out of 5 by MasonMomma from Okay purchase I was really excited to get this product. My 3 1/2 year old son LOVES baseball and I thought this would be a great way for him to practice with out me having to be so involved all the time. It was NOT easy to put together and the "directions" were extremely vague. I ended up having to fine a you tube video to get me through the set up process. Once it was together, my son was very excited to use it. It is not as easy as it appears in the promotional video. The latch to release the ball has to be pressed pretty hard and in an exact spot. Also, the yellow piece at the end of the ramp comes off very easily if the child hits it while swinging. I purchased some extra wiffle balls as I didn't thing 4 was enough, but regular wiffle balls don't fit, too small, so they come out two in a row. My son will continue to use this product, but I am not sure it will be something he would use past the age of 4, maybe 4 1/2. I don't think older kids would enjoy it.Date published: 2015-06-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Katrina from Awesome product My 3 year old loves this!!He has no idea how to do it yet completely but he will be the spring.I definitely recommend it to everyone with young kids that enjoy sports!Date published: 2017-01-07Rated 1 out of 5 by Stacee from Pain!
