Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by BabyGirlsMama from Love this bed Our daughter has had this bed for about a year now. (You should have a power drill to help put it together.) She LOVES it. We fought to get her out of her crib & this did the trick. She makes up stories w/ the scenes on it & feels so safe in it. I love how sturdy it is!! I lay w/ her to read books and feel perfectly safe. There's even plenty of room on the sides to sit if you would like. Both our daughters like to jump off the "pillars" & they have held up wonderfully. It may have been costly. But, worth ever centDate published: 2012-07-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Super-Mom from EXCELLENT! I wish I would have skipped a toddler bed! My daughter LOVES this bed...no more getting up multiple times a night!Putting it together took less than 1/2 hour. Yes, you have to drill your own holes, but they have exact indents to show you where to drill - with the screws that are included. We have an memory foam mattress (11 inches high) and it DOES go over the sides, which isn't an issue for us. It is strong enough for you to sit on to read a story to your little one too!One thing that we would change is the opening under the bed. It is large enough for toys to get lost under the entire bed, but not large enough for a storage bin.Delivery was great, the box IS large - but small enough to fit through a normal size front door.Great buy!Date published: 2013-12-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I recommend this product This was my granddaughters second birthday present. This is also her first big bed. She just loves it! It was very easy to out together. My husband and son had it together in about an hour and they felt it was very sturdy. The hunky board fit perfectly and hold the mattress perfectly. I did follow the recommendations and got a mattress that wasn't too high over the edge of the bed so she wouldn't fall. Also, I see that these beds keep their value. There have been a few posted on buy, sell, trade sights and they go quickly.Date published: 2016-07-02Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Needs better assembly The bed is a beautiful bed and my 3 year old daughter loves it. However, the holes to drill the screws in were not pre-drilled and you had to create your own holes. The bed would not fit a twin boxspring so you can only use the mattress party of the twin set. Also, directions should have stated that you need to pound on some of the parts to get them to fit correctly together. All in all, it was pretty sturdy once put together and my daughter loves it.Date published: 2011-04-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicholas from Lovely bed! My daughter loves this bed! She just turned 4 and we needed to find a bigger bed for her. I love that it's still pretty low to the ground and the light at the top of the castle. The assembly and hole drilling really wasn't difficult for us. The screws bored in just fine. Just make sure you read the instructions so you don't have to switch screws around (like us lol) because I'm pretty sure you shouldn't unscrew and re screw plastic. :) #sweepstakesDate published: 2017-03-24Rated 3 out of 5 by ChiMom from Sturdy but very "Plasticy" Hard to put together without a friend and a drill.Once assembled, it is strong, and my 4 year old likes it.I like the rounded edges and that it is generally low to the ground. Aesthetically though, I will probably replace this in a year to something more classy. Also, expensive for the material used.Date published: 2014-12-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Escondido Dad from Daugher loves it My daughter loves it. It is cute. She has never had a bed without rails, but she stays put, probably because the sides are high enough. Instead of using the two pieces of plywood that comes with it, we bought a bunkie board (a foundation that is only 2 inches think) and it really seems like the bed was made for one. I say that because the bunkie board fits snuggly and is supported on all edges by the plastic, where the plywood does not reach. Also, a 5" foundation (or anything thicker than 3") would not work as the mattress would be higher than the sides of the bed.Be sure to use the right length screws. There are three different sizes and the wrong length will go all the way through and stick out the other side (I won't say how I know this :-)Cons: Yes, they could pre-drill the rest of the holes (some are started for you, but not on the white pieces). The plywood pieces could be bigger (does not matter if you use a bunkie board). Shipping agreement, if you purchase through manufacturer and bother to read it, is rather frustrating. I paid S2 $40 to have shipper lift it off the truck (Wife was there, not me and it would have been too heavy for either of us.)Date published: 2012-12-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Annie from Beautiful fit for a princess Love this bed got ito for my 2year old if you have a little girl this is the bed for herDate published: 2018-01-04

Only asking be we have a car bed that is like this and works great as side rails also!I think we have a 7" thickness mattress I purchased from Rooms2Go and because of the thickness, it is a little like a side rail -- about 1 - 2 inches below the plastic side rails of the bed. My children started using this bed right at age 2 and they were fine. The mattress by the way is very comfortable, so don't worry about the thickness regarding comfort.Date published: 2018-03-27do you sell a boy colored version? No, unfortunately we do not offer the Princess Palace Twin Bed™ in any additional colors.Date published: 2018-03-27Where can I purchase replacement stickers for the princess bed? It makes it a little tricky to tuck in the comforter but not trickier than any popular platform style bed. I think having a box spring would make the bed too tall and possibly the mattress would slide off the bedDate published: 2018-03-27What depth mattress will fit in this bed? I have to choose between 8 or 13 inch deep mattress. Thank you!Don't go above 8" or it will not work. 7" is best.Date published: 2018-03-27I'm thinking of getting this for my daughter. My daughter was just about two when we put her in it and she has never fallen out. It's a cute sturdy bed and she still loves it.Date published: 2018-03-27what age limit does this go up to? want to buy for my daughter she is going to be 4 i want something that will last for years, she is growing out of her todller bed. & need to get her a twin and she is all into the disney princesses this is so cute. thxIt's the size of a regular twin bed.
