Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Kiacrocker from The kid loved it Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program. The products is very attractive, it's not just a regular play kitchen the TMNT design makes a statement.Everything snaps together no tools needed. You will been about 5 AAA batteries total. My 3 years old son love anything TMNT, and recently I've allowed him to help me cook in the real kitchen, his favorite thing to makes is pizza . So now when he wants to cook he can go on his own kitchen and makes some.I also have a 9 month old who play alog with him, none of the part are small enough for her to choke on . So I can allow her to play freely with him.Date published: 2016-09-09Rated 5 out of 5 by ErFrankBok from Perfect for TMNT lovers and kids that like to cook This TMNT pizza kitchen is awesome! My sons (2yo and 4yo) are always looking to help out in the kitchen. Now they can do everything themselves! They have such a fun time making their own pizza JUST like the Ninja Turtles. They can each pick out their favorite toppings, simmer sauce on the stove, warm up leftovers in the microwave, pop the pizza in the oven and grab a fountain drink. When finished, they can clean everything up in the sink. The buttons for the oven and stove have sound features that make pretend cooking so much more real. We definitely recommend this toy for any child who loves ninja turtles, pretend play, and cooking! Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program.Date published: 2016-09-09Rated 2 out of 5 by Muse from Cute, but not completely functional The kitchen is cute and durable, however there are four issues with it. First, there is no pot included that triggers the boiling sound on the stove, so it is pointless to have that function. The pressure trigger on the outer ring of the stove is the one triggered by the included pot and it makes a cooking sound as intended. The pressure trigger on the next ring in makes a boiling sound, but there is no instrument to trigger it.Second, you cannot assemble the kitchen without an electric drill with a Phillips head screw driver bit, because they did not provide holes for the screws to go into. The plastic is much too thick to drive the screws in manually.Third and most serious, there is a screw that is integral to attaching the blue top to the green counter top and it is impossible to reach with a conventional drill, because it is located underneath the cupboard. You either need a compact drill that is not longer than 6" at most or you need to do it manually with a short screw driver. I had to do the latter, which meant drilling a small hole first at an odd angle just to get the screw started, since there is no provided hole for the screw. Then I just had to grind away at it manually.Fourth, there are 3 plastic hooks that you press into provided holes, but the holes provided are too small in diameter and it is very difficult to press the hooks into place. All in all, it's a cute, mostly functional kitchen, but it was complicated to assemble. The directions had simple and specific pictures to follow, but almost no English directions to accompany them, which is interesting for a product that claims to be produced primarily in the United States.Date published: 2017-01-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Kendall Rayburn from Love this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Kitchen! Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program! We absolutely adore this Pizza Kitchen! I have two boys (5 and 3) and they just can't get enough! I love that it incorporates pretend play and I'm constantly being served pizza now! They love pretending to be a real pizza spot and cooking up whatever we order. It's also nice because there is so much storage for all of the items that come along with the kitchen. I really liked that I didn't have to buy additional items for my boys to use it, it all was in the package with the kitchen itself! My oldest son has Autism and really enjoyed all of the different real-life features including the sounds on the stove, buttons to push, etc. It really peaked his interest and kept him entertained for hours! This is now their favorite thing in the playroom! Thanks, Step2!Date published: 2016-09-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Tiffany R. from Love this little kitchen for both boys and girls! ALL of our children love this product! I had originally thought the toy would be ideal for our 2 1/2 year old, who loves to pretend play cook and adores the teenage mutant ninja turtles! Turns out it is a hit with the little ones (twin girls 17 months old) and big ones alike (5 years and 7 years). Everyone enjoys this toy and they especially love the noises and lights on the burner/stovetop and the red and green pizza lights. The little ones have had so much fun "cooking" in the oven and microwave and "washing" dishes and silverware in the little sink. This is a perfect height for our girls (1) through 5 year old and we love watching them delight in the new things they are cooking for each other :) Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program. It something we will be recommending to our friends and family with young children.Date published: 2016-08-31Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love this Kitchen! I have two boys and we love this kitchen! the TMNT theme is adorable but it's also way more modern than other play kitchens I've seen because the stovetop actually lights up when you put the pan on it and the microwave has start and stop sounds. My son has not gotten bored with it yet! The pizza board that comes with a sliced pizza and pizza cutter is probably his favorite prop. Highly recommend.Date published: 2016-10-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent Value and LOADS OF FUN!! I purchased 2 of these, one for each of my grandsons...they LOVE THEM!!! Just curious though, on the stove burner there are two different buttons that make two different sounds but it only came with a skillet that will work the one button. What's the other button for?Date published: 2017-08-04
