This Step2 Wagon is a 3-in-1 wagon that kids and parents will enjoy! Toddlers can sit in the wagon during walks in the park or a take snooze when it's turned into a flat-bed. A favorite feature of the Whisper Ride Touring Wagon for parents is that it also serves practical, non-recreational uses such as hauling dirt, mulch and all the garden essentials around the backyard. Holy Cow was my Grandsons reaction
My son put the wagon together and when my grandson got in mom was videoing him and his reaction was Holy Cow...he had the best reaction on his face he loved the wagon and has used it several times already, going for walks with his cousins and when his new sibling arrives I am sure he/she will enjoy it as well. Thanks for making a great product and I also bought one for my granddaughter on her first birthday and her baby brother arrived 6 days after her 1st so Daddy hasn't had time to put hers together but I am sure she will enjoy hers as well. Thanks Step 2 for keeping safe toys on the road for my grandchildren. Great product, great company.

Bigger, not stronger or better.
Overall this is a fine, large wagon. It just isn't special. We were hoping it would have an upgraded weight capacity but it doesn't. Furthermore the axels are the old fashion hammer together design that has been used since the 1970's, they can not be disassembled for transport or repair. Since this wagon lacks a door and has a canopy it is difficult for older kids to enter and exit.This wagon is an old fashioned design made of safe new plastics instead of more dangerous wood like the radio flyers of the 1970's. A fine product for today that has loads of room for improvement tomorrow.

Amazing product
I have a ten month old, little boy, who absolutely loves this wagon. We use it daily, walking to the park, going to the zoo, camping. It is amazing it holds everything we need for a day out, it's safe with the seat belt and canopy. He gets a great view, of the world around him, far better than in a stroller. Plus it has great little table top for snacks and the cup holders for the parents ( a feature not found in other brands). So easy to store and pack with you. We regularly load it in my jeep for excurcisions, and is a must for any camping trip.

Best Wagon!
I have a 3-year old and 16-month old, both fit comfortably in this wagon and they love it! We have taken it to several picnics and the rib fest. They were able to have their lunch comfortably and napped in it since the trays convert it into a flat bed. The canopy is great-they were the only ones dry when our picnic was rained on. I also get hang their bag on the canopy posts. PLUS, I was able to fit in the trunk of a Nissan Altima =)

A must have! Above expectations in a wagon!
I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old, and they got this wagon for Christmas. And oh my goodness they LOVE it. Even in the house they’ll sit in it and eat at their little tables lol! It’s truly an amazing wagon. It has so many options. And it can be used for hauling items too, it essentially can very easily turn into a flat bed. It has very large wheels, making it a smooth and easy ride for the children, and making it easy for the parent to pull the wagon. This is probably the best purchase I’ve made for them. And for my husband and I! I highly recommend this product.

Love this product
We love this wagon. I especially like how you can move the canopy a bit to the right and left...it gives a little added sun protection at times. The only think I would like to see is a padded back on the seats. My daughter is 10 months old and isn't completely balanced yet, so when we do hit those bumps its a little rough on her. I ended up putting a blanket on the back for that reason. Otherwise, it's a great wagon.

great wagon
We use this wagon on rainy or sunny days. The roof is water proof. I have a 3 and 5 year old and this wagon fits them both perfectly. Easy to pull, turns on a dime. Assembly was a bit difficult for me when it came to the screws that go in by the seats.

Nice wagon but installing parts can be difficult
It is a really nice wagon with a cover but not so easy putting together. Many of the parts fit tightly and make it difficult to install. Upon completion, the wagon pulls easy and has plenty of room for two children.

I’m looking for rubber wheels instead of plastic they last longer. What kind of tires are on the Step2 whisper ride touring wagon.
The wheels of the Whisper Ride Touring Wagon™ are made of plastic with a small amount of rubber compound.

My son is 50lb and 40”. Is this the right fit for him?
No. I think your child is too big for this type of wagon. This wagon is for toddlers, my 3 year old is 30 lbs, and fits perfectly. Your child, by height and weight, seems to be too large to fit comfortably in this wagon. I suggest review the dimensions listed in the description.

Does the canopy offer UV protection like RadioFlyer's model, or is it just passive cloth? (I'm particularly interested in the "whisper" model)
The canopy on the Whisper Ride Touring Wagon™ has a UV protection for the fabric to prevent fading.

Can I buy just the canopy for this model somewhere?
You can! If you go to the main Step 2 website you can navigate to replacement parts & accessories. We had to replace ours last summer and it was really easy, shipped immediately and we had it within a few days.
