I received the wrong extension
"I received the wrong extension track for my roller coaster. It was my fault that I chose the wrong one, but ordered it at the same time as the roller coaster so One would think step two would notice that the two products don’t work with each other. Instead, they accepted the return with my expense to return it and the shipping cost more than the value of the extension set. I will not be ordering from step2 again as I feel like this was very poor customer service."
Great addition to the coaster
"Great addition to the coaster"
Though I was told it
"Though I was told it was, it’s not compatible with the roller coaster I purchased exactly one year ago. Kind of disgusted with false advertising."

Very disappointed with customer service
"Very disappointed with customer service help. I did not realize that they had different extensions so I wanted to do an exchange. I was told they do not do exchanges and for me to send back. The issue is to send it back it cost anywhere from $120-$179 for that price its cheaper for me to order a new one. So now I have an extension that my grandson can not use. I asked customer service if they could suggest a cheaper shipping company for me to use but they told me no. Because of this I will never buy anything from Step 2 again which is unfortunate as I have several grandchildren that I buy for."
This is the perfect add-on
"This is the perfect add-on to the step to roller coaster. As the kids get a little bit older, it gives them a little bit more track to play with."

Q&A
- So this will work with the Up and Down Platinum Coaster?
- No, you would need the Second Edition expansion pack located here -https://www.step2.com/products/farther-faster-coaster-track-expansion-pack-second-edition
- Will this Expansion first edition work with the Kolhs exclusive Blue Flash up and down roller coaster (SKU #76840530) or do I need the 2nd edition
- Hello! The Blue Flash edition from Kohl's is like the Green Flash or Rapid Ride & Hide editions and is only compatible with the Farther & Faster Coaster Track Expansion Pack Second Edition.
- Will this extension fit on the one that is for 1 1/2 years old??
- Hi Sherrie, great question! Compatibility with the Farther & Faster Coaster Track Expansion Pack First Edition depends on the model/edition of your Up & Down Roller Coaster, not the age of the coaster. If you’re unsure which version you have, please contact our Consumer Service team at https://www.step2.com/pages/contact-us with the model number or a photo of your coaster — they’ll be happy to help!
