Great big mailbox
"It's big and beautiful! Our mailman is happier since he can put a box in it now vs. coming to our door daily. It is plastic but is attractive - has some cute touches to give a unique look. It even has a spot to add a plant hanger in the back to dress it up. We're enjoying it so far -- looks like it will hold up nicely."

Sturdy, functional, and unique
"Overall this mailbox is sturdy and functional. In addition, we originally thought it was going to be way too big for a mailbox, however the size ended up being perfect and not overbearing. Likes: -We love the way it looks. Unique to other mailboxes in our neighborhood. -The opening is larger for additional mail items such as the smaller packages we receive that usually end up sitting on the ground by our front door (sometimes getting soggy or wet). -Sturdy -Durable plastic material -Magnetic piece to keep the door closed -Love the plant hanger option on the back, easy to assemble. Dislikes: -a little difficult to put together -instructions needed to be clearer regarding attachment of the top to the bottom of the actual mailbox (where the mail goes into). It was hard to line up to make sure the mailbox door closed evenly. -had to purchase additional wood as it needed a longer than normal post"
good quality mailbox & post kit
"I was impressed with quality of this mailbox & post kit. As I said it is very well made kit that was very easy to put together. This mailbox is big, that is what i needed as I am getting a lot of mail and it is perfect size for us. It comes with all hardware that you will need and also all instructions that is very helpful. The only thing that you will need to get is standard 4x4 wooden post, that is easy to buy in stores. It was our first time putting this mailbox and it was pretty easy even for beginners like us . Even it is a plastic mailbox, but it is very very sturdy, stays strong. There is a magnetic closure that keeps mailbox doors closed. I am so happy with this mailbox sturdy and big."
Step2 Mailbox and post kit.
"I got the Step2 Timberview XL Mailbox and Post kit and I really was surprised on how big it was for a mailbox. I also like that the post is way different and that you can also hang a basket on back end if you add a L bracket. My son put it together and put on old post in ground and didnt take long at all. The directions were easy to use and understand and just need right tools. Only issue we seem to be having is the lid wont stay close so may have to figure out what to do. I like how wide the box is and will be able to hold small packages. Verey sturdy."
Very large mailbox
"When I opened the box I couldn't believe the size of the mailbox, it is very large. You could probably put two shoe boxes in there along with mail. I like the quality of the material they used. It looks very nice installed. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with numbers for you to place on the mailbox, you've got to buy them yourself. Other than that we love it."
Great product, but a BEAR to put together
"Unfortunately, this is impossible for me to put together by myself. Unknowingly, I need additional tools and wood posts and I am unable to complete installation. You need some brute strength to get the screw through the plastic. If my husband were available to help, I wouldnt have an issue. However, the mailbox is well-structured, massive in size (XL is more like XXXL when comparing to standard mailbozes). The pieces are well labeled and all pieces and hardware were included correctly."
Perfect Size For Packages
"I love this style for a mailbox. It's a nice modern/traditional style. I love that this will not rust or rot. It is made out of the EverTough so I know that this will hold up great not only in the summer heat but also in our cold winters. Also you would not know this was not made out of wood unless you go up close to it and touch it, so I love that it gives you that wood look. The mailbox is HUGE! So now the packages that I order that were too big before will be able to fit in here no problem. It's a nice easy open and easy close door. There is a magnet that keeps the door nice and secure. While this did mount nicely to our old post. It was still too short to meet the standards. So we needed to get a post extender, so it shows a bit of the post at the bottom. We will work on getting that covered better. It took about 15 minutes to get this put together on the old post."
Large and sturdy
"I first had to replace the post for my mailbox, because someone hit it and broke it off at the ground level. Following that, I wanted a LARGE box that I could receive my packages in and this fits that bill nicely. The box and post come in 6 pieces, plus hardware. Simple to put together, I did have alittle trouble with the box, but if you have ever put together a childs plastic house you will understand, you really need someone holding the outside of the box while you are assemling it. I appreciate that the door is magnetic, I always fear my door would fall open and an important piece of mail would fall out. The directions are simple and thorough, great photos too! I can not speak, as of yet, on longevity of the plastic, especially under the Florida sun, but thus far, its ideal for us! Of course, my husband did not want us to post photo of the box with the numbers on it, so I am showing you the wood grain and color. Enjoy!"
