Advert Calendar is beautiful, however assembly is
"This One Step Advent Calendar is a really great “toy” or advent calendar, however, the assembly for the Advent Calendar is so very, very difficult and quite aggravating to say the least!! First of all, the so-called “push-in” screws (they are made of plastic) do not go into the base of the Advent Calendar without a hammer and some really, really hard hammering! Unfortunately one of the plastic screws actually got bent and then broke so I had to just hammer in the screw without its smooth head. Secondly, there are no pre drilled holes for the real screws that secure the top piece. You have to make the holes yourself. Lastly, the stickers for the Advent Calendar were crumbled resulting in one (number 19) that went missing (I finally found it on a wrapped gift lol). Still now I know what to expect and once it was fully assembled it really was amazing. I bought a box of about 25 toy nativity pieces to go into each of the bins!"

Finally Got Our First Advent!!!
"I ordered this particular item as it was always sold out in years past. This year I ordered extra early as it was finally available and not sold out! Once it arrived I put it together and put items into it and placed it in our Foyer. It looks absolutely beautiful and my son loves it! He loves looking into it daily and finding trinkets or religious gifts inside. Thank you for creating a product that I could incorporate into our family!"

Assembly nightmare
"This is actually the worst product I’ve ever bought. The holes don’t fit the screws and some of the areas you’re support to screw don’t even have holes? I feel like I’m being punked. This is a children’s toy. Come on!"

Very cute but assembly has its issues!
"This is super cute, but be aware that there are no predrilled holes for assembly with screws and push pins. I needed a power screwdriver to insert the screws, and a hammer to force the push pins in."

Disappointed in quality.
"The advent calendar is really cute, but I am disappointed in the quality of the one we received. The sides where it looks like the seams in the mold were look terrible. Only half of the holes for the grid piece on the back of the calendar lined up, so I was only able to get 3 of the pegs in to hold it in place. I tried to email the support email address that was included in the package, but the email won’t go through."

Don't make a mistake when putting it together!
"This product adorable, but the assembly should not be so difficult. I don't understand why it didn't come completely assembled, as it would have easily fit in the same box. The instructions are vague, so you think its simple enough. . . it's not. The plastic inserts that hold the drawers need to be put in a specific direction. . . and it's almost impossible to correct once you realize your mistake."

Super cute and festive!
"I’ve always wanted to buy my kids a pre-made advent calendar from the store but they are so expensive! The Step2 advent calendar is the perfect remedy for that! It’s so cute and fits in with my Christmas decor. It also allows me the flexibility to put items I choose into the calendar! My 2 year old loves to pull out the boxes for the day. The coolest part about it, is that the Christmas bucket is behind the door with a super shiny “ Merry Christmas” sticker on it. It’s so exciting to finally open that door on the 25th. This is the perfect item to teach little ones about the advent season!"

So cute, but too big and lots of assembly
"I was very excited to receive this, but a little disappointed by a few things. There is a lot of assembly required, including a lot of stickers. There are screws that aren't pre-drilled for, which I had a very hard time inserting. If my children were older they may have enjoyed helping to put it together but they aren’t quite old enough to do a lot of it. I thought the design was really cute, but it’s so large that I’m not sure of a good place to put it."
