Great Holiday Toy for Kids and Adults
"I bought this Gingerbread House in 2020 it has been very well played with every year since by several different kids and they love redecorating it. I also purchased additional pieces to add to the house. The only things that I would change is the candy canes fitting in their holes better, and the top of the house the white snow I used zip ties to secure them so that they don’t keep falling off."

Sharp screws!
"This is an adorable toy and easy enough for my 1yo to figure out. But I’m am very concerned about the screws that stick out inside the lid. They are plastic and flat on top, but are still sharp. My son saw them and stuck his hand in right away. The edges on the lid are pretty sharp too. We will probably have to do some sanding. He also got his hand stuck in the heart shaped hole in the door. Solo play is a huge no for this product unless you make some adjustments to it."

Terrible
"Was sent a used/broken product and now I have to take pieces apart and send it back to get a new one sent out to me and Christmas will be over by that point … LITERALLY RIDICULOUS"

SO MUCH FUN
"Very cool product. Easy to assemble. My grandson and I had a lot of fun play time."

I have purchased Step 2
"I have purchased Step 2 products for years. The Gingerbread house is lacking. It’s very difficult to click the bottom of the house to the base. Even for adults. It doesn’t stay in place at all. I ordered 2 and both are the same. The mold is defective. I’m really disappointed."

While my son likes it,
"While my son likes it, my husband had to modify it as the base would not stay on as it seemed warped. Also the speaker for the wreath seems blown. I would rate it higher if it wasn’t basically $70, but for that price range it isn’t worth the price they are."

We were excited to purchase
"We were excited to purchase the gingerbread house for our grandson after purchasing the Christmas Tree last year, which we loved. Unfortunately, when we opened the Gingerbread House, it was missing the screws to attach the wreath to the house. Step 2 promptly sent us replacements, but once we assembled the wreath with new batteries, it didn’t work properly- the music was distorted and unclear. Now we have to contact Step 2 again, delaying the gift even further. We really hoped for the same great quality as the Christmas Tree, but this product was disappointing. I’d recommend skipping the Gingerbread House and going with the Christmas Tree instead."

Granddaughters 1 1/2 and 6
"Granddaughters 1 1/2 and 6 have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it- They wanted a candy can for every hole would be the only “suggestion “"

Needs to be recalled immediately.
"There are screws exposed. I was told via email, it was made this way. That there is nothing wrong with the product. The screws are very sharp. This is clearly an issue and my mind is blown that the company thinks this is okay. It should be recalled immediately. No one shows this part in any video or picture. I had an influencer respond back and tell me she thinks her screws fell out. The others did not respond to my question about why the ends of the screws are exposed for a child to cut their hand on them."

After putting the gingerbread house
"After putting the gingerbread house together I noticed that it’s wobbly. The top of the house falls off. It’s cheap and I wouldn’t recommend buying it."
